Movie 29: After Hours

Scorsese movie about a guy trying to get laid and having the worst night of his life.  (1985)

Movie 28: Blow Out

(1981) Cool De Palma movie.  Very 70's esque, but moving into more 80's style.  He's great at the suspense/action parts - not so great with the relationship stuff

Movie 28: The heartbreak Kid (1972)

The original written by Neil Simon and directed by Elaine May (of Ishtar fame).
It's not really a very good movie.  It's very slow.  With huge over blown scenes.  I'm ok with the lack of resolution at the end of the move.  And very much like the moments of consternation and internal disquiet that comes with Grodin realizing he doesn't want to be married.  But the movie doesn't really go anywhere and felt mostly superficial to me.

Movie 27: The Way, Way Back

An indie sundance movie that was actually quite good with big name stars but obviously not lots of money
